The Challenge

The 6 Week Challenge is our 1-on-1 training program. Each week for 6 weeks players complete a 1-on-1 session with one of our coaches and are given "homework" to do in between their session to further enhance their skills and/or athletic performance. Each week players are also checking in with us via an online form to ensure that all the work is being completed and to answer any questions the player/parent has. At the end of the 6 weeks we complete another assessment to compare to your first assessment.

 

On average, a player that completes our 6 week challenge will have improved by 20%! If committing to a structured plan will be a struggle this may not be the right opportunity for you. If you are a player that sticks to their word and will complete what they set out to accomplish there is no denying that will see great results in the players' development.

This challenge is formatted this way because we know how difficult it can be to determine if a player is getting better or not. This can be affected by what drills/exercises they are doing, how often they do them, and the feedback they are receiving while doing them. Most importantly, you need metrics/data that can tell you with certainty whether or not they are improving.

We understand that this commitment will be a lot to ask and therefore will not be the right fit for everyone.  If you and your player are ready to commit to a proven system, rest assured you will no longer be the parent in the crowd wondering what you can do to help your player develop. Instead, you'll become the parent getting asked what you are doing outside of the rink that has transformed your player's ability to execute come game-time.

We run the challenges year round, but our availability is limited as more players enroll in the challenge. With that said, this is not an opportunity we recommend you wait to apply for.
